Carlos Tevez’s biography

The tragedy of Tévez’s mother abandoning him while she recovered from her burns continued to haunt him. His father was also killed in a shooting when he was five years old, so he had to grow up as an orphan.

His uncles, Segundo Tévez and Adriana Martnez, whom he considers his true family, were left in charge of him when he was a child. Carlitos moved to Fuerte Apache, one of Greater Buenos Aires’ most troubled neighborhoods.

Since he had no money to buy a ball, he hit stones in the parks as if they were balls.

Argentina’s idol

Finally, Carlos Tévez was able to join Club Atlético All Boys. His decision to join Boca Juniors was unwavering, however.

He won the Copa Libertadores with Xeneize in 2003, beating Santos in the final. Having defeated AC Milan in a penalty shootout at the Club World Cup, Boca repeated their success.

As a member of the Argentine National Team, Tévez won the Olympic gold medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004. In six games, “El Apache” scored 8 goals.

The fact that Carlos Tévez has never won an important title with Argentina will always be a thorn in his side. Albiceleste lost in the quarterfinals in both World Cups (2006, 2010). Despite reaching three Copa América finals (2004, 2007, 2015), he did not win a title.

In 2005, Tevez was forced to leave Boca and sign with Corinthians, as an investment group owned his rights. As a result, he would develop a great friendship with Javier Mascherano, the defensive midfielder.

In one season at West Ham, he saved his team from relegation with a goal against Manchester United on the last day. A license plate from the Apache was taken by Sir Alex Ferguson during that game.

Having been on loan with West Ham for two years, Tévez had already joined Manchester United.

As a “Red Devil,” he won two Premier Leagues. As a result of Manchester’s victory over Chelsea in the 2008 Champions League final, he achieved his greatest success.

In winning the Champions League and Copa Libertadores, Tévez became one of only a handful of players to do so.

During the 2009-2010 season, Manchester City acquired his services for 45 million. In his first two seasons with the “citizens,” he excelled, but some issues with the coach, Roberto Mancini, caused him to leave.

“Apache” Tévez finished his career with Juventus in Turin, where he won two Scudettos in his two seasons.

In July 2014, her uncle was kidnapped. A ransom of 400,000 pesos had to be paid to free him.

Tévez returned to Boca Juniors after his adventures in Italy. His party was spoiled by River Plate in the final of the 2018 Copa Libertadores.
